Management Accountant

Part Qualified Management Accountant | £40,000 + full study support | South Leeds

We’re recruiting for a commercially focused Part Qualified Management Accountant to join a growing business in South Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who wants exposure to senior stakeholders, real commercial involvement and the chance to develop quickly within a fast-paced environment.

The role:

You’ll support the Financial Controller across management accounts, month-end reporting, business partnering and commercial analysis, playing a key role in helping drive business performance.

Key duties:

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Variance analysis and performance reporting
• Supporting month-end processes and reporting deadlines
• Business partnering with internal departments
• Supporting audits, VAT and stock reporting
• Identifying process and system improvements
• Assisting with ad hoc finance projects

Experience: 

• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or AAT Qualified and looking to do further studies
• Experience within management accounts 
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Confident communicator with a proactive mindset
• Detail-focused with the ability to meet deadlines
• Ambitious, inquisitive and keen to progress
